I came for the slicers and only the last few minutes were used on slicers...I was able to pick up a few new useful tricks. I think the prerequisites were clear that you should have a basic understanding of pivot tables....but based on many of the questions that were presented many did not have basic knowledge of pivot tables...some very elementary pivot table questions were asked.

I very much enjoy Mike's style of presenting. He goes through the examples methodically and presents the important pieces of the material at least twice and more often if there are questions. Other presenters have their presentations so packed with stuff to show that they are going through at lightening speed - and even if their steps are numbered sometimes you can barely keep up! Mike always takes time for questions and often you will see steps repeated as he walks through the answer he is giving. Mike's presentation is a real-world example. Everything he is talking about is relevant to the big picture rather than having a presentation of various examples that do not relate to each other.
