Legislative Updates: What Every Payroll Professional NEEDS to know for 2018
This webinar will review the proposed 2018 budget and the impact to payroll; we will also review how this impacts payroll all the way into 2018. All updates that currently affect us or changes we need to do quickly will be reviewed. This webinar will give you the tools to make sure your aware of any current law changes affecting payroll.
This webinar is designed to help the participant to know updates for 2018 necessary to stay in compliance with the IRS. Did you know that penalties for information returns have been updates and can cost your company money if W-2’s and the required ACA forms are not reported to the SSA and/or IRS timely in 2017. Or that the IRS has implemented a pilot program affecting payroll service providers to have an additional number on the W-2 to help reduce identity theft. Including the IRS proposal for 2018 W-2's and employers are to truncate SSN. These kinds of items and many more will be reviewed. We also will review potential impacts to the 2018 proposed budget by the white house and how items on it (if passed) will impact payroll.
