MALLORY MINOR takes pride in her Indigenous ‘Georgia Roots’. With a passion to pour into her court community, she takes a vision and makes it reality through sound strategic planning, collaboration, and leadership. A seasoned court leader, Mallory serves as a Court Administrator with a local municipality in Georgia, where she fulfills a dual role as Court Administrator and Clerk of Court and she is an adjunct professor at a local community college. Starting her career as a Paralegal, she later went on to hold the position as the Legislative Clerk’s Assistant with the Georgia General Assembly, where she worked closely with Former Clerk Robbie Rivers and the Georgia House. Thereafter, she continued her public service with the Magistrate Court of Rockdale County, where Chief Magistrate Judge Phinia Aten appointed her as the Magistrate Clerk of Court. This historic appointment placed her as the 1st African American Woman Magistrate Clerk of Court in Rockdale History!

Under her clerkship, the Judicial Council of Georgia Standing Committee on Judicial Workload Assessment presented the Magistrate Court of Rockdale County with a 2018 Judicial Clearance Rate Excellence Award after the completion of a three-year clearance rate study of all Georgia courts from 2015 through 2017. Since her tenure within the Municipal Court, the court has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Georgia Municipal Clerks Council 2022 Program of the Year, the 2023 President’s Choice Award, and the Municipal Court Judges’ Council 2023 Special Recognition Award. All a testament to the court’s excellence and dedication under her leadership.

Mallory serves on several Boards, and she is actively involved with professional and civic organizations. However, her commitment to community engagement extends beyond her professional roles, as she is committed to a lifetime of learning. Mallory earned her B.S. in Legal Studies, A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies and American Bar Association Approved Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Clayton State University, and a Master in Professional Studies and a Master in Public Administration at Tennessee State University. She is also a Registered Neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. With her admission to the PhD program at the University of Alabama, she embarks on a new chapter in her academic journey.

In her space, she is a loving mother, avid reader and continues a steady and consistent path of career growth and advancement, while cherishing the opportunity to pour into the legal profession.
