Nicole Guthrie

Nicole Guthrie is a strategic executive leader and financial architect with nearly two decades of experience building operational infrastructure rooted in accountability, resilience, and trust. A graduate of Arizona State University, where she earned her degree in Accounting in 2006, Nicole has built her career on disciplined execution and unwavering ownership.

Born and raised in Monterey, California, Nicole began her professional journey with a deep respect for structure and financial integrity. She spent 17 years with Giustiniani Masonry Marble & Tile, supporting and ultimately overseeing operations for a workforce of approximately 190 employees.

What began as financial and administrative oversight evolved into full operational leadership. Nicole managed workers’ compensation audits, tax reporting, payroll for nearly 200 employees, compliance frameworks, onboarding systems, vendor relationships, and executive-level financial oversight. The company’s founder often described her role simply: “Nicole handles everything.”

She became the stabilizing force behind the organization — ensuring audit readiness, financial accuracy, and operational continuity at scale. She also worked closely with a diverse workforce, including many employees for whom English was a second language, serving as a bridge between field teams and executive leadership to ensure clarity, compliance, and cohesion across all levels.

Today, Nicole serves as Chief Operating Officer of Oaceus. She originally joined as a Payroll Specialist and quickly distinguished herself through her mastery of compliance, financial systems, and strategic operations. Her ability to see the entire ecosystem, not just a department, elevated her into dual C-suite leadership.

In her current role, she oversees:

• Governance and regulatory alignment
• Risk mitigation and audit defense
• Operational scalability and systems architecture
