Tavin Skoff

Tavin Skoff is a seasoned tax attorney, business strategist, and CEO of G-Land Tax Consulting, a San Francisco Bay Area firm focused on helping businesses optimize tax strategies, secure credits, and successfully navigate complex audits. With more than two decades of experience in corporate taxation, audit defense, and strategic tax planning, he brings a rare combination of technical expertise and real-world execution.

Over the course of his career, Tavin has held senior tax leadership roles at Fortune 200 and 500 companies, including Vice President of Tax at Leidos and Cypress Semiconductor, and Director of Tax Planning at Veritas Technologies. His corporate experience provides him with a deep understanding of the challenges organizations face at scale and the strategies required to drive meaningful tax efficiency and compliance.

Tavin has spent over 40,000 hours defending tax audits across various government agencies and has led successful tax planning initiatives in more than 175 countries. He is widely recognized as a thought leader in taxation, frequently speaking on international tax strategy, audit defense, negotiation, and tax team optimization.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Organization from the University of Southern California, a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the same institution. In addition to his leadership at G-Land, Tavin serves as a tax advisor to Ant Venture Partners, supporting organizations in navigating tax strategy within emerging technology investments.
