Understanding the true cost of employee turnover is crucial, yet often underestimated. While most CFOs and Finance leaders can recite costs related to equipment, utilities, and employee benefits, few have a clear picture of how much their organization loses each year due to unnecessary turnover. Beyond the obvious expenses of recruiting, hiring, and training, turnover carries a host of hidden costs that are just as damaging—if not more so. These include lost productivity, knowledge drain, lowered morale, administrative overhead, disruption to teams, and the loss of training investments and future opportunities.

This insightful webinar will reveal the full financial impact of employee turnover and provide HR professionals with a data-driven foundation to advocate for strategic retention investments. Attendees will learn how to calculate both direct and indirect turnover costs and why this data is vital in building a compelling case to Finance. In addition, the session will explore essential turnover metrics—what to track, how to track it, and how these insights can drive better decision-making. Ultimately, this webinar aims to align HR and Finance in addressing one of the most significant, yet often overlooked, business expenses: the loss of talent.

Your Benefits for Attending:
  • Understand the full scope of both direct and indirect costs associated with employee turnover
  • Learn how to calculate turnover costs to better support investment in retention strategies
  • Discover key turnover metrics to track and how they impact your organization’s financial health
  • Gain tools to build a compelling case for HR initiatives with financial justification
  • Enhance alignment between HR and Finance for strategic talent management

By attending, you’ll walk away with a clear, quantifiable understanding of turnover costs and how to use this insight to secure buy-in for employee engagement and retention programs—ultimately leading to stronger financial and organizational performance.

I wish it was a little more in depth, it seems like us and multiple other participants had led investigations in the past so a lot of the content was not useful as we know what a workplace investigation is and did not need a refresher on the general overview. This training seems best for small companies just starting out that do not often have in depth investigations. We have team members dedicated to employee relations so we were hoping for more techniques and strategies and less "this is a type of investigation". I wish it was very clear that half of this was a very general overview on simply what an investigation is because it has really dissuaded us from signing up for future trainings. I think the speaker was qualified and good at speaking and I like that we were given handouts.
