In a study of more than 400 senior-level corporate executives, 55 percent said their company’s performance is likely to suffer in the near future due to insufficient leadership. Is there really a shortage of potential management talent? Most of the time, no. The real problem is poor succession planning. This program will give you an actionable framework to identify and groom your organization’s future leaders.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • How to identify leadership potential using the “4C” model to measure probability of success in future leadership roles
  • The unique attributes and capabilities that future leaders of your company will need—this is why you need successors, not replacements
  • The 8 core experiences required to transform a high-potential employee into a highly successful leader
  • Why focusing on “leader-centric” development often has an immediate positive impact on the bottom line
  • Strategies for motivating current executives to participate in the development and mentoring of their eventual successors
  • Insuring your company’s future: A blueprint for building a succession planning program across the entire enterprise
  • Joe Frodsham

There were technical issues mid presentation, which seems to happen often during these training sessions. The slide presentation did not keep up with the presenter, which is also a frequent occurrence. It's distracting to say the least.

Very well done, I received a lot of information in 60 min. The Only disappointment was I had no luck if finding the class program materials prior to the class. I searched my junk mail for an email; I look for something called Handout control panel. Please help me this information is very beneficial to review and to begin using. Please email to me the program materials. Kind and Highest Regards. I look forward to my next class.

Thanks for the great presentation, Joe. In my experience I’ve found top management loves the talent review process and succession planning. We go through thoughtful exercises, have great discussions on talent and succession planning. However, the “Now what” can easily fall flat. Meaning, no true follow up or monitoring. Even if development plans for HiPos are created. Reflecting on the companies that do this very well, Say the level 2s, 3s and 4s on the maturity model, what’s the secret sauce? Is it as simple as Executive level sponsorship and holding themselves and their leaders accountable to ensure engagement in the process? I'm curious on how to really drive impact within the organization that has the tools and initial processes in place but falls short in following through in ensuring impactful and relevant development and succession plans are executed after the talent reviews are conducted.

I truly believe it helped to understand how and what to look for in an individual when looking at replacement for future department needs when it comes to management succession.
