A seasoned industry professional, Dawn strongly enhances ESR’s management team with prior executive management experience in operations, sales, business development, marketing, and online solutions. She brings 24 years of experience in all facets of workforce screening solutions with extensive knowledge of background screening, drug testing, and occupational health testing. Her areas of responsibility with ESR include sales, business development, brand marketing, and client success.
Prior to joining ESR, Dawn held senior positions in the screening industry as Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and most recently as Vice President of Business Development. In addition to her employment work experience, Dawn has been called upon as background screening subject matter expert.
Dawn is a long time member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and was elected Chair of the NAPBS for the 2016-17 term. The NAPBS is the industry’s professional association and accreditation body of which ESR is a founding member. She is actively involved on the NAPBS government relations committee and participates in legislative advocacy efforts on behalf of the association. She regularly meets with legislators and governmental agencies including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in Washington DC to promote common interests of Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs) and Human Resource professionals alike.
Dawn served on the Board of Directors for HR Tampa, Florida’s largest Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Chapter, as a co-director of Sponsorships in 2013, and is currently a member of SHRM and the Mile High SHRM Chapter in Denver, Colorado. She has been quoted in publications such as USA Today and SHRM HR Magazine.
