Patrick’s practice focuses on defending companies in regulatory enforcement and compliance issues in federal, state, and administrative venues. Patrick’s experience also extends to various labor and employment matters, including representing employers in discrimination and wrongful termination cases. Additionally, Patrick provides companies with training in safety, health, and employment-related compliance.
Patrick defends companies throughout the country in proceedings before administrative law judges and in matters ranging from pretrial discovery up through appeals to the United States Courts of Appeal. Patrick has appeared in more than twenty cases before United States Courts of Appeals, including the Third, Fourth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh and D.C. Circuits. In addition, Patrick is a member of the Firm’s SBA Loan team and is responsible for advising clients seeking compliance with the CARES Act and other developments in federal law. He has spent considerable time advising business owners and HR professionals on managing workplace issues related to the coronavirus.
Patrick has been selected as one of Pennsylvania’s Super Lawyers - "Rising Stars" since 2015. Patrick also guests lectures to doctoral level classes at Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Safety Sciences.
