Robert Capwell, the founder, and principal consultant of Capwell Consulting Group is a nationally recognized background screening consultant and litigation expert witness with more than three decades of executive leadership experience in employment screening. He specializes in providing consulting to employers and expert testimony for lawsuits involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) compliance, workplace violence, and negligent hiring and retention. Mr. Capwell has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur Magazine, and SHRM publications, and has consulted with employers, government agencies, Members of Congress, and federal agencies. He also served as a Past Chair of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners now known as the PBSA.
