Vivian advises clients on a variety of data privacy and cybersecurity law matters. She also conducts data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and privacy audits to identify and mitigate potential risks as well as draft and review data processing agreements, privacy notices, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with data protection laws.
Vivian holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) designations from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Vivian was a data privacy consultant for a cybersecurity consulting firm where she advised on compliance with national and international data privacy laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). She also formerly served as in-house counsel for a multinational universal bank, where she focused on data privacy regulatory compliance matters while leading a comprehensive data privacy program.
During law school, Vivian co-founded and served as Senior Articles Editor for the Rutgers International Law and Human Rights Journal, in addition to being the Managing Articles Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy. After graduating, Vivian served as a law clerk to the Honorable Andrea J. Sullivan of the New Jersey Superior Court - Middlesex County Vicinage.
