Time off for a headache?  Intermittent leave for arthritis?  More so than ever, employees are requesting accommodations in the workplace for what arguably may be disabilities under the Americans With Disabilities Act.  This presentation will focus on what is and is not a disability under the ADA, comparing the ADA with the Family Medical Leave Act, and providing best practices and recommended policies to help handle the ADA’s required “interactive process” that employers must engage in when an employee requests an accommodation.  Professionals will also learn the dangers that can be caused  by failing to document the interactive process, and best practices to limit liability when things don’t go as planned.

This was much more entry level than I expected and I don't feel I got much out of the presentation unfortunately. For someone without experience in this area I'm sure it was extremely helpful. I also understand illness occurs, but the presenter was coughing excessively to the point that it really disrupted the presentation, and never once even acknowledged it. I would have appreciated someone else being able to step in for her.

Loved the content, was struggling to follow the presenter due to her coughing and lack of smooth presentation skills. could have been an off day for her due to other speaking engagements. Otherwise very good content.

The audio is bad whenever this facilitator presents. Its hard to hear because the audio is choppy. I sometimes hear only every other word. I think the facilitator does a good job, I can just not hear when she is saying. I experience this every time I join a webinar that is done by this particular facilitator.
