Both direct recipients of federal grants and organizations that receive federal grant money from another organization are subject to the Single Audit Act rules. When applicable, these rules require a specific type of compliance audit that must be conducted by specially qualified CPA firms. In this course, we will learn the parameters that determine when an organization must undergo a Single Audit and what to expect from one. Whether you work for an organization that is currently subject to the Single Audit requirements or may be subject to them in the future, or you work for a CPA firm that does Single Audits, this course will provide you with a solid background in what the Single Audit entails.

I wish the presenter would have spent more time on the actual 1099-Misc rather than going into details and telling stories that really didn't pertain to the Webinar. I was hoping to learn more about each of the highly used boxes (1,3,6).

I think the name of the topic was misleading, or at least perhaps left a lot up to interpretation. It was way more information on specific types of liabilities and how to account for them then the title let on. Maybe it is my fault and I should have delved deeper into the topic, but felt the title should have been different for the material presented.
