Lester S. Rosen is an attorney at law and founder of Employment Screening Resources (www.ESRcheck.com ), a service offering of ClearStar.  ESR is a national background screening company located in California and is accredited under the Professional Background Screeners Association (PBSA) accreditation program.

He is the author of, “The Safe Hiring Manual- The Complete Guide to Employment Screening Background Checks for Employers, Recruiters, and Jobseekers (823 pages-Facts on Demand Press/3d Edition 2017),  the first comprehensive book on employment screening. He has also written, “The Safe Hiring Audit,” published in 2008.

He is also a consultant, writer, and frequent presenter nationwide on pre-employment screening and safe hiring issues. He has qualified and testified in the California, Florida, and Arkansas Superior Courts as an expert witness on issues surrounding safe hiring and due diligence. His speaking appearances have included numerous national and statewide conferences.

Mr. Rosen was the chairperson of the steering committee that founded the PBSA, the  professional trade organization for the screening industry, and served as the first co-chairman in 2004

This webinar was great! I use an outside vendor for our company's background screening and now I have the knowledge to ask them questions, including their certification, if any. I would highly recommend this webinar and might watch it again on my own.

This presenter was somewhat difficult to understand as he rambled from one sentence to another. It wasn't the speed of the presentation which was fine, there were just no pauses between one thought and the next. Otherwise, the information was very useful.

Am very glad this is a 4-part series of seminars. It is necessary to cover the subject matter. Also, this was my first Aurora training and I'm very impressed! Will be enrolling often!
