There wasn't enough time for the presenter to discuss topics in depth. Which is understandable due to time limit.

The technology failure in losing audio was frustrating, but quickly addressed, which I appreciated.

Speaker stated on several occasions that he wasn’t going to be redundant in reviewing all the bullet points on the slide. This could be avoided if slides were consolidated into one hour presentation. Also adding the termination process seemed like a separate session - my expectation was that we would learn how to engage the disengaged.

This was a great presentation. It hit home for me because we recently laid off employees and I have been struggling with how to educate the management team on their role in improving employee morale. They haven't taken accountability for their part in the financial instability that led to the need to lay off employees and they don't fully understand the magnitude of what that did to our employee's trust, commitment, and future performance. This presentation gave me some great pointers on how to explain what is happening within our organization and what is needed to improve it.

I believe the presenter took too long to get to the meat of the presentation. Any respectable HR Professional is aware of the cost of turnover and basic things like that.
