Cynthia Keaton has over 20 years of human resources leadership experience in multiple private and public organizations from start-ups and acquisitions to Fortune 500 companies. Cynthia owns KeatonHR, LLC, which assists companies in building HR capacity. She focuses primarily on improving recruiting, engagement, and retention programs and on supervisor/leadership development. Cynthia has served as VP of HR for John Deere and Volvo heavy equipment dealers and for a life sciences manufacturing company that relocated from the West Coast to South Carolina.

Cynthia holds a master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of South Carolina.  She has obtained multiple certifications, including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), and Group Benefits Associate (GBA).   

Cynthia has served as a Board member for Trident Technical College Foundation, CPM Federal Credit Union, and SC BIO, all in Charleston, South Carolina.

I have attended several presentations on compensation in the last few years and without a doubt, Cynthia was the best presenter of all of them. Her knowledge is evident, but I was struck by her easy and relatable presentation style that was filled with real-life examples. Very well done! Thank you for this training session!

This was a really good session for an introduction to effective orientation and onboarding. I would love to see more sessions that show the newest innovation/best practice for this topic.

The presenter was not good. She gave general information that was common sense. She seemed to be slurring, so I'm unsure what was happening there. It was a waste of time and money.

No but i will say that overall it was great i can use a lot of the tools she gave me to help support my managers that i train and mentor here in our company which training never stops everyday there is something new but i do have to say all of this was strong informations to pass on.
