Wes earned a Masters in Healthcare Administration at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and an M.S. in psychology.

I am an experienced HR professional and wanted to assess this course to potentially get our new managers to take, but it didn't really hit the mark for me. I think the topics were relevant, but I'd like to see more discussion about the partnership with HR and the manager's role in creating a culture that helps retain employees by understanding the issues.The discussion on "at will" and "just cause" was very good. In general, as stated earlier, the topics were appropriate. I also appreciated the handouts. I will explore other courses from the organization--it was professionally done. Thank you.
